What's changing in the south metro

The City of Littleton does not provide trash hauling or recycling services; property owners choose their own company. In October 2025, City Council adopted the South Metro Waste Diversion Plan, and the city lists hauler licensing and a universal recycling ordinance among the tools it is exploring, with no decisions made yet.
